Weird (but in a good way) Tuesday

After a hiatus of two seeks due to gallery set up and SNOW storm, I was back in my painting class for the "Serious Beginner" this morning. As promised, the instructor had washed off the previous chalk guidelines, making the colors even MORE brilliant.  He added some chalk "notes" indicating places that need to be highlighted, re-toned, redrawn or otherwise worked on.  PICKY PICKY PICKY.  But I think It will be lots of good learning... and probably "worth" the trouble.
Just for fun, I have included my neighbor's painting in this image.  Same still life, different POV and different "vision" of the shapes, colors and reflections.  I'll see if I can snag view of the other students next time.

In the afternoon I had to visit the oral surgeon to make sure that everything was healing well, and it was SUCH a short appointment, I put the address of the New Hampshire Artists Association into the Garmin and drove the 2.5 miles to their gallery.
Apparently you have to be "juried in" to be an Artist Member.  There's a juried show asking for paintings THIS Friday (and I don't know what I have that is presentable)... but there will be another juried show for new members soon.

I do know that I love Jane Kaufmann's ceramic figures.

Who do you like best?  The weight lifter?  Lover? Knitter? Devil?
