Who knew that John C. Hammon owned 80 or so hotels, even though they carry the Marriott, Holiday Inn and Renaissance names? This one in Allen is old enough to run very smoothly, have great staff and new enough to be spotless and have innovative conveniences that were new to me.
One of the conveniences is that lots of the couches and chairs have little side arm rests/desks that are perfect for iPads or small lap tops. The entire hotel is wi-fi enabled.
Lots of nooks and crannies to sit, put your feet up and use your phone or computer in case you or your roommate need alone-time.
AND the cat is welcome and loves looking out the 7th floor window. (She seems to hope she can fly to the Whole Foods Store across the boulevard.
