Lost my purls
I finished the back of the Man's cardi from The Knit Stitch.
So when I started my second pair of Princess Mitts, imagine how hard I had to think about how to PURL. (not to mention cabling in the right direction on the right row, and actually reading the entire pattern.) I love the results, but thanks to MamaLiz, I adjusted my knitting here and there so that they will be more attractive. It is knit knit knit knit... and, in spite of their invisibility in the picture, there are lovely "ribs" made by slipping every 5th stitch on the wrong side of the work.

Editor's note: MUCH better to take this kind of photo when there's daylight. NOW you can see the ribs!

You'd think I'd have it right by now, but I've done rows 20-26 5 times already.
Ah, persistence!

Why, those are just lovely. Someone brilliant must have decided that a greenish yarn would be a nice choice for this project. :P

Love you!

I am just in awe that you can knit at all. I really would like to learn how. I've been saying it forever but really, I want to. Such a beautiful art.

Hey....I'm going to steal that...slip a stitch every 5th.. it does make a nice ribbing.
