Lawrence, Lovell and Quilts
Today we headed West, mostly. We tried to find the textile trail in Lawrence, MA, but mostly we found a colony of people from Puerto Rico and the Domincan Republic. So we headed farther west into Lovell. Turns out to be the 4th largest town in Massachussets. It straddles the Merrimac River and was central to mill work and the Industrial Revolution.

There has obviously been a concentrated effort to redevelop the central city and create an arts district.

I saw "NE Quilt Museum" on our map and located it by guess and by golley, and by seeing this painting on the back wall.

At the end of the day we went to a Joe's American Grill where I tried to draw this lamp. HA. I did better eating my ravioli.
