Well, THIS certainly isn't a view out of any of MY windows. In it's own way I think it makes the point that the sun is not "out." I lacked the patience to make the layers/washes as crisp and shapely as they could have been. Several hours is apparently my limit.

it is a beautiful place. you may lack the patience as you have said but only very little....i like how you have drawn the details of the place.
i love this one and all the many colors...
Oh gosh, I love this one. The colors are so vibrant and yet so welcoming. The blue just draws you in. Makes me want to go there!
i would never have the patience to add such detail to the beautifully glowing building against that velvet sky. beautiful work!
The colors make this piece seem alive. Great job.
Well where ever it is, it is beautiful. Very vibrant. Cheers!
Oh wow that is such a nice piece. I admire your patience to work with traditional media, I personally don't have such patience.
I think this is splendid! The detail and the colors really do show that you've put time into this. It looks like Mont St. Michele to me, a place I found incredibly magical when I was was there so many years ago.
Great colors and details and I can definitely tell that the sun is not out. Looks like night to me.
nothing wrong with the outcome here. if you had created a crisper look, i think you would have hurt the illustration. you stopped where it needed to be stopped. it turned out great.
the blues you used for the night sky are so plush. and i like all the colours you used for the village. beautiful.
Dito to all comments, its lovely.
Beautiful and silky looking. I really love it.
I like the whole concept- dark background [ for the night theme ] and colourful building. Amazing.
Thi is lovely. The line work is beautiful.
