Wouldn't you? If you followed knitting instructions that said this would turn into a sweater? I mean really. It looks like a knit cover for a topological map or 5th grade volcano project.
Now I have evidence, and I believe all will be well. When I bend the needles and fold it up, I do believe it has sweater potential. This one is about the right size for a 6 month old.
and there's going to be enough yarn left over for a hat and/or booties.
