Illustration Friday - Dream
I've been reading Alice Miller's. Among other things, she found healing, sanity and improved health by through painting. The topic "Dream" seemed an apt one to do something out of the ordinary, deeper and less illustrative. I can only imagine what these images reveal about me... but I enjoyed what they revealed TO me.

The Not-Quite Sponge Bob is based on an actual dream I had.

This guy was just feeling so overwhelmed. An inner voice? An exterior voice?

And this was just how I felt!

#1 - Magic Schoolbus visits friend in underwater prison where fruit is a diet staple.
#2 - Me and my ex-boss
#3 - you felt like Picasso!!!!!

Each one wonderful in it's own way! I begin a "Drawing for the timid" class in two weeks. Will I get as good as you?

I love them all, especially the underwater dream. When you look at it full size you can really feel the surrealness of being underwater!

"And this is just how I felt" is my favorite...imagine that.
They are all well liked in my book. Hope all is well.

Wow..three really different illustrations! I like the school bus underwater one the best...it's very much like dreams I've had. The colors and the "mod" design of the bottom illustration make it my close tie with the first.
