Daily Art Work: This wasn't supposed to be a particularly speedy drawing. In fact, I would consider it unfinished. I had 5 minutes while DH was eating lunch. I call it Kitchen Kalanchoe. I do like that it pretty much looks like the plant, and that the contours are varied and interesting. Amazing what happens when i look very carefully.... and when there isn't really any color or deliberate "composition."
This process makes me want to buy a scanner. Taking digital photos of my sketchbook leaves quite a lot to be desired!

Thanks for your nice comments in my blog, thought I'd wander over here to see more of you. This drawing looks great, really good for 5 minutes. My drawings always take a lot longer than they look. You MUST get a scanner, digital photos just won't do your work justice.
That's a lot to get done in 5 minutes! Looks great!
