I am losing focus.
There's knitting, professional (related to my DAY JOB) reading, Art, music, laundry, nature, and weight loss and spirituality and all the dark nights. There's just SO MUCH to do and to think about. And then I stay up really really late and just want to sleep during the day.

This is my first attempt at "painting" in photoshop.

I thought I wouldn't feel like this once I was "grown up."

You have seen my digital illustrations, so let me know if there are any questions I can help you with. I have one for you — do you have a drawing tablet, or are you drawing with your mouse?

And regarding the late nights and sleepy days: maybe you are an owl, not a lark. Can your schedule be tweaked to accomodate this? I often find that even a short nap in the afternoon gives me more energy for the rest of the day.

sometimes losing focus can be good. you notice different things. and you learn to be flexible. i was super in focus in college and missed out on a lot of things that didn't happen where i though i needed to succeed, ie, the classroom.

i think the hardest thing for me is determining what is a 'should do' and what is a 'would do'. get rid of the shoulds (as much as possible) and see what happens.

and there is no grown up. there's just...taller.
