Apparently the power grid had a 60 minute hiccup yesterday. No power. And in spite of having power strips, I now have a fried power supply, fried mother board... and a hard drive in yet-to-be-determined condition.Que lastima!
DH is setting up a new dual-core/mega Ram/mega storage photo/video/media oriented computer. If possible, ALWAYS hook up with a computer-savvy person, unless you ARE one!
Prayers for the MotherBoard are appreciated.

Yikes! And OMG! Am so sorry to hear that -- computer weirdness always makes my hair stand on end.
Jeez! Have DH put in a power supply with a fuse next time.
