Honey, Come quick! Look! Look! Look!
While my husband was cooking up a storm in the kitchen he looked up for a minute and saw our first in-our-yard deer. She seemed pretty calm. Maybe even listening to Blood, Sweat and Tears which was cranked up on the stereo.
She browsed at the edge of our back lawn, seeming to prefer the untrimmed flora with flowers.
Yummers!
She was amazingly calm and sedate as far as moving around. Her feet pretty much stayed planted, even if she wanted to look East rather than West.
We made eye contact at one point.
And she moseyed back under cover.
