Ok... so sometimes there are bigger things to worry about
than losing your lipstick
When my clock radio woke me up with the news that Japan had had its biggest earthquake in 100+ years and that the tsunami was heading for Hawaii, I thought I could imagine what that was like.
Then I found the above video on CNN... and I'm sure there are others just as dramatic.
Who ARE we to think we have much control?
Who ARE we not to do our best to be helpful and thoughtful... because someday we might need the safety (or slack) we'd engineered into our infrastructure and our communities.

It pains me that people have lost their life but the shear force of nature for its creations and destruction is amazing to look at.
