Great blue heron (juvenile)?
We were just driving from home to Home Depot and I spotted this wader. Darling husband pulled a graceful U-turn (without ANY prompting!!!!!!) so I could take these shots.
With the waves of horrible news stories, killings, murders, recessions, it is easy to become down trodden or heavy hearted. And then you can see something surprising, graceful... and even beautiful (although this might be a face a mother would love best!)
