The worst sort of web worm..DH has spent at least a day's work trying to rid his computer of a nasty viral worm. Even with state of the art (so they said) virus protection, he was infested. Pop ups weren't blocked any more. Every mouse click was double. Virus warnings that looked real were faked and hijacked him to sites unknown.
Even with "Go Back" it won't boot up.
Looks like we'll be getting a new hard drive... sneaking our data off the "old/new hard drive" and trashing the infected one.
I'm sure it's great fun for the hackers (assuming this isn't a Russian or Chinese Mob deal) but if I find out who did it and have a chance.....
