Lately, I've been able to pass up rather than buy most knitting books. But the production values, explanations and appearance of Margaret Radcliffe's (relatively) new book was so amazing, I HAD to get it. YUM.
She includes LOTS of examples of what dyed yarns "do" in various kinds of patterns, which should save lots of swatching, ripping and time. Not to mentioned frazzled fiber. AND she includes patterns for FO's as well as instructions for particular designs.
