Bazillions time is the charm.
With a bit of a demonstration, I finally got a partial handle on the cloud-blending business. I see from the thumbnail that the darks in the foreground read upside down... but for now, I think I'm done! At least I can stand to look at it now that the camel vomit has been cleaned up.
