Journal to a Muse

A MeME that a dear one made interesting.
1. Where was I 10 years ago?
Dallas. Sole proprietor of family therapy practice trying to make it self-supporting. Re-connecting with wonderful man I'd met 10 years before. Getting used to the idea of son (youngest child) leaving for college.
2. Five things on today’s to-do list.
Straighten home office or painting studio. Laundry. knit. read.
3. Snacks I enjoy.
Cheddar and Wheat Thins, Pimento cheese, chocolate (plain or in chips in cookies), nuts. Veggies? not so much.
4. Things I would do if I were a billionaire.
Hire a maid AND a cook. Buy time in vacation spots in Minnesota, Laguna Beach, Scotland and Ireland. Explore Scandinavia. Give some to each of my children. Contribute significantly to Medicines sans Frontiers and The Heifer Project. Construct an architect designed house near an ocean and lots of trees.

5. Places I have lived. Pasadena, CA; Claremont, CA; Mahopac, NY; Richardson, TX; Dallas, TX; Plano, TX.

6. Jobs I have had: Library page, Receptionist in a law office, Vital Statistics clerk, Blue-print machine operator, legal secretary, Children's librarian and storyteller, Business/Reference Librarian, Barrista at Borders, Clinical Social Worker and Psychotherapist, Continuing Education Teacher.
7. Who would I like to know more about. My children and their SO's, most everybody, actually.
