My DDIL said her nutritionist recommended small plates with 50% for non-starch veggies, 25% for protein and 25% for carbs/starches. DH and I found just the ticket at Pier One (on sale 75% off), and I've written the formula on them in permanent marker. Crutch? Tool? Whatever works, dude.
