Last night I went to an oil painting demo by Bonny Liebowitz. I couldn't resist trying to sketch some of the other observers. they aren't to scale, but I actually managed to capture a few characteristics of each of these women.
Bonny has an amazing collection of brushes. The enormous hog bristle brush might show up on my wish list.
DH conked out before the hockey game was over (We won: 3-0!!)(Thanks for letting me post this!)
I colored it in photoshop.

I love these sketches. You really capture the essence of what you draw. I like the "personalities" of the women at the painting demo.
