Better Every Day

Sometimes taking a break helps one see changes better. When I returned to "my" life drawing class last week, the instructor validated my hope that my drawings were coming together.
I still have trouble getting the parts of the body to all be the same scale... but I'm pleased that the parts are more and more recognizeable as to form and connectedness. (Apologies for the shadowed background. My portfolio case doesn't prevent newsprint curl-- especially in the humidity.)
The other drawings from the session are here.

These are great! I especially like the blue figure in the middle.

I have to say that I really envy you this sketching talent. I have a real desire to learn to sketch but haven't had the courage to really put myself out there and do it. I love these sketches and the general feeling they have. Very nice.
