Comparison of Alternatives: A Better Set of Side EffectsI am still in awe of the "old" style, generic, non-steroid anti-inflammatory meds the oncologist gave me.
No pain! (Some weight gain.... but really, for right now, I am still celebrating not hurting. I have much greater sympathy for people whose pain is not or cannot be "managed" AND eradicated.
Also, new sympathy for people with arthritis who maybe need these meds all the time and forever. The Nabumetone/Relafen can cause all sorts of problems down the line, and I hope I'm not one who has a sudden stroke, bleeding intestinal or gastric ulcer or heart attack.,
Did I mention that I am SO glad to not hurt? I'm even glad to get back to the gym.
While I'm at it, I'm glad that my drugstore gave me a bottle in English. I think this one (courtesy of google images) is in Korean.
