Sunday was an incredibly beautiful day.

DH and I spent a good chunk of it driving away from the city and alternately admitting that Texas has some beauty, and asking ourselves why we live somewhere with virtually no geographical features of interest. But any where you go, the sky is there. And the Texas sky is one of the biggest.

This is a close up of a weathered bench in front of an abandoned (I think) strip mall.

And this house, still being lived in, looked completely pale and bleached, until you looked carefully at the chairs on the porch.

I miss the sky from home so much. The second picture is great - will you send me the file? Thanks!

Gorgeous photos! Reminds me of Alberta sky (you know, the "Texas of the North").
