Illustration Friday - Run
As I was working on this I was thinking it was my "inner runner" making a brief appearance. (I hadn't known she existed, to tell you the truth. And then I found this neat quote. You can decide whether the runner is on track or not.
"Men do not know the natural infirmity of their mind: it does nothing but ferret and quest, and keeps incessantly whirling around, building up and becoming entangled in its own work, like silkworms, and is suffocated in it. A mouse in a pitch barrel...thinks it notices from a distance some sort of glimmer of imaginary light and truth; but while running toward it, it is crossed by so many difficulties and obstacles, and diverted by so many new quests, that it strays from the road, bewildered."
Michel de Montaigne

Okay, here's your site with your illustrtions, etc. I'd gotten only as far as your knitting site when clicking from your comment on my blog.
Really like the quote and how well it goes with the cool illustration. Great energetic colors.
Thanks! Must try to give people more time to look at what I post.
Whenever my weight gets beneath heart attack level, I like to go running. I like your quote. No machine can no its own limitations.
