Three Things.
- Call the Pizza Delivery Man... when there was nobody but the cat to help me eat the pizza.
- Listen to the siren song of cookies in the kitchen.
- Buy enough yarn to make myself a sweater.

There was another kind of ribbon yarn at my LYS which cost TWICE as much. I have blocked the name! (When I found out the total number of yards/hanks required, it was tooo much. Sue helpfully guided me to Crystal Palace's PARTY. I love the red/pink/lavender "orchid" colors almost as much as the other which also had some gold threads... and it is definitely more affordable. (Big girls need LOTS of yarn. If I were the proverbial size 2, maybe I could have afforded it!)

Oh... and I couldn't find the sort of pattern I wanted, So I asked if they had something like the lycra/poly sweater I was wearing, and Jill whipped one up on Sweater Maker in the back room.
How's that for service?!!
And they're not selling their store for at least a while longer.

I wish people would do their research.
Yarnstorm Jane's photos were NOT stolen and neither was her content.
You can check out dovegreyreader's blog for yourself and see that they are different photos.
It was pure Blogendipity! Another blogger had a similar (not same) idea.
The "other" blogger has been done a huge disservice.
Hey there -- if you love fiberarts as I suspect you do, do come and visit http://www.darcyfalk.com/
She does unbelievably beautiful quilting.
I was lucky enough to meet her yesterday, and her site and work are well worth a bit of your time.
Back to the pizza and cookies and yarn - that sounds like the BEST NIGHT EVER. Can't wait to see the sweater!!
Roro-- so true: but the remorse the morning after. . .
BECAUSE THEY WANT TO SELL *US* THE STORE. Now go buy a lottery ticket. I'll get one on the way home. ;)
