SynchronicityI have actually continued to do Morning Pages... though hardly every day, and rarely any closer to morning than "before dinner. They have been helpful.
I am thinking, too about ACOA issues.
Then synchronicity struck in the form of this novel while I was in Borders this afternoon. (It is a gloriously grey and rainy day after months of draught, and I even got to sit and read a bit.)

It's called the Schopenhaur Cure and by a very well known psychotherapist, Irvin Yalom. I haven't read enough to officially recommend it yet, but if you are looking for something that addresses
- how to be a therapist
- how to know who you are and what you've stood for
- melanoma
- end of life issues
- philosophy
- religion

Hi PW :)
You know who I like reading when I'm feeling foggy and unsure... Ralph Waldo Emerson. That guy is almost as good as Ralph Marsden, hey it is a Ralph-ing thing:p
Read his essay on self-reliance

I guarantee it will make you think higher of your opinion than of all the people out there who are trying to inflict theirs on you. Not me though, I'm just sharing ;)
Catch today and be happy,
Meadow
Yalom certainly covers a broad base. Even though there are a couple of topics that seem really specific I get the feeling his global reach would be interesting to read. Now I'm curius... (I'm also curious about Blogging the Artist's Way but that will have to wait.) As for feeling foggy, I call on Ralph Fiennes! (Others may prefer Ralph Lauren...)
Synchronicity must have led me here. I'll be back.
I LOVE Yalom. I've not read his fiction, but his non-fiction books about his experience as a therapist are phenomenal. One of my favorites is The Gift of Therapy, which I think is a must for anyone training to be a therapist and anyone wanting to get good therapy.
