Revelations according to the Muse
Here are my responses to a set of lists I found here.
TEN random things you might not know about me
1. I had curly red hair as a child.
2. I wish I had a fitness trainer.
3. I alphabetize my spices within two groups: Sweet and Savory
4. I love to cook, but eating makes me feel guilty
5. I'd like to play hockey (field or ice) in a seniors league
6. I am often frustrated when things don't get done, especially because I didn't set reasonable goals or plan.
7. My proudest accomplishment is learning to be a good enough mother (before it was "too late.")
8. I've had surgery 8 times, but never broken any bones.
9. I think I would make a good radio talk show interviewer.
10. I worked at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory as a secretary.

SIX things I’m afraid of
1. Having no money
2. Being old, poor and sick.
3. Gangs/mobs or loud people, especially young men
4. Snakes, tarantulas and most insects I haven't seen very often.
5. Big growling dogs
6. Colonoscopies
FIVE things I don't like
1. Preparing for a colonoscopy
2. Rude people
3. Prejudiced people, especially when they assume only they are OK.
4. Rap music
5. Amplified Rap music in somebody else's car that I have to listen to.
FOUR ways to turn me off
1. Smell bad and/or be dirty
2. Be self-centered
3. Be brutal or mean… to any one or anything
4. Loose your temper

1. Check e-mail
2. Play with the cat
3. Tell my husband I love him.
TWO things that make me happy
1. My family and friends
2. Curling up with a new book, or a new notebook with pencils or paint.

ONE thing on my mind right now
1. Planning a fun Christmas season.

You worked at JPL? No kidding! It's in our back yard, practically. Both our kids worked there while in school as part time jobs, but we never did.
