No cleavage for now!

I'm getting near to the finish. Regrettably, I have a lot of soreness (think of a partially braised tenderloin) where I have been radiated. Gratefully, as of Thursday, the radation will focus solely on the area where they removed the #$%^ing little cancer tumor. Little did I know that my prescient surgeon left four teeny metal clips in my boob so that the radiation people would know where to aim. Clever aren't they? AND, since they don't want to x-ray me before EACH radiation treatment, I now have very hard-to-wash-off marker in that vicinity with circular plastic dots to keep the corners clear.
So, no low cut blouses at Thanksgiving... but, maybe by Christmas.

Oh, and my eyebrows returned as quickly as they fell out. They are mere wisps of their former selves, but they are there... and I think some brush on color will help me look less like an Alien.

My hair is ALSO coming in. I'd say it's coming back, but I don't believe I've EVER had hair like this.
It is FUZZY.
It is mostly BLACK.
I think this means I've now had every natural color possible. Strawberry blonde/red and curly as an infant. Towheaded as a toddler. Dark/California blonde pretty much my whole life and then the "take life by the horns" surprise RED when it was time for the wig.
And now black. Maybe it will be like baby hair... temporarily strong and black while the hair follicles get revved up...only to be replaced by "real hair" instead of bristles.

Keep your fingers crossed, OK?

Whoa with the eye shadow, Ma! Keeping my fingers crossed. Maybe instead of cleavage we should get you tall boots. They always make me feel hot. :)
