This is the first drawing I've tried with my new Wacom tablet. I haven't really found a tutorial; I like the different brush styles that come with Painter, and am not quite sure what the pros and cons are between Painter and Photoshop. guess there's one more learning curve!

I can see you're enjoying it already.
I prefer Painter for painting, but Photoshop does a good job, too. The brushes are better organized and easier to access in Painter. Photoshop features a better user interface for everything, IMO.
Dr. Blyska (that was the random word verification image for this post - it sounds a real person!)
Hi Dana, which Wacom did you get? I agree with Karen that the brushes are better organized in Painter. I have a bunch of shareware brushes for Photoshop that I've accumulated, but I hardly use them because they're so poorly organized. I prefer to do my photo collages in Photoshop because I can manage the layers better. I love your fall mug!
yup, I agree with those two up there! I have a wacom and use both p/shop and painter for different things. I cant really be bothered to read the instructions for painter so its all a bit hit and miss really!
I like this little mug = its very sweet
