Cat-A-Stash-Tic

Apparently sweet Puppy the Cat has been bored while I have been needing extra sleep. In spite of the fact that my stash shelves are a mere 8 feet away from my bed, she has taken to picking up skeins of yarn and carting them off toward the kitchen or den as though they were wayward kittens. At first, I merely put them back and scolded the kitty.
Then the other day, I looked up my sleepy stupor and realized that basically, the stash now appeared empty.

EMPTY!

I hadn't been knitting much, so there had to be a different explanation.
Anything that was sealed in a project bag was on the floor. Anything that was not sealed in a project bag was on top of the bags on the floor.

OH, NO!

If the yarn was especially fuzzy, odd or appealing to a feline, it had been dragged at least part way across the room.

I've got you my little pretty!

The cat, of course, managed to look innocent and/or cute when I peered at her to see what was causing this new, undesirable behavior.
Who me?

Sometimes, though she looked demonic.
Me, demonic?

Suggestions welcome, as long as they don't involve getting rid of the cat OR the stash.

I've been meaning to comment about the lacy blanket, but when I saw this post I just had to coment about this one - with 3 cats in the house, I know all about finding frogged stitches that I didn't frog, and balls of yarn in random spots in the house.
One solution would be to move the yarn into the closet and shut the door - but since I don't have any available closet space, what worked for me is to get all the yarn off shelves and into one big basket, then stick all the knitting needles evenly into the pile - it looks sort of like a bed of nails. The cats don't get on it (because who wants to sleep on a bed of nails?) and they can't move the individual balls because they're attached to each other with the needles.
Good luck! :)
