Think globally, act locally, right?
So now I am linked to the Texas Knitters Ring. Yahoo, y'all.
I have started heel flap of sock #2... which means that literally, I have turned the corner. On my chemo treatments, energy levels and, um, attitude adjustment.
I had a fabulous weekend with DD and a great day with DS and his GF.

We had breakfast, then went to Sam Moon (my lord what a lot of stuff!!) where I bought a tiger striped baseball cap and two scarves. The scarf IS nicer than being totally bald. Keeps the draft off, but isn't as humid as my wig.
We drove around Frisco's Central Park. Lots of cool outdoor sculptures and local color.

DD had to sit on tarmac in plane for at least 2 hours due to massive thunderstorms in Dallas. Poor girl. She said she'd almost finished one of her airplane books, and was making hasty progress on a baby sweater for a friend's first baby. She's going to get to Massachusetts WAY late. I hope the T is running on schedule.
I want to start a new baby-garment... or finish the baby blanket. In the future I'm going to go garments... much less knitting than a blanket.
And I bought some quilting inspirations.

what's with the blog spam? and DD got home, is for some reason reading your blog instead of going to bed, and wondering why one can shop at Sam Moon online. . . That's dangerous. Had a great weekend...later, tater!
Okay - so i JUST realized yesterday that you have an "attachment" to wenders. I feel cheated!
;)
I just started learning to knit last week! I have a new blog just for knitting.
Great photos!
Also, my father in law just got a clean bill of health after being treated for lung cancer (it was either stage 2 or 3). It's pretty amazing.
