I am bored. Xena would not be bored. She would be looking fit, sexy and Amazonian while conquering something. Not me.
It is hot. Even inside. With the ceiling fan on. I have laundry to fold. It is beginning to call me. Blech.
There is plenty of knitting to do, and even an interesting book on my bedside table: Virgin Blue.
Those things do not interest me. I am not (quite) bored or tired enough to take another nap.

I wish I had a big batch of personal letters to read or even emails. I got spoiled just after my cancer diagnosis and may have turned into a diva. (You think?!) Loving all that attention.
It is easy believe that my white cell count is pitiable.

I doubt that ice cream is the only thing good for it. Or that threatening those little suckers with oxegenation via the stationary bike is the kindest thing to do.
Even if my cat were this cute (which she isn't, really...) I don't know if I'd want to play with her.

I remember how frazzled I was when this little cherub prevented any kind of nap, rest or boredom. I cannot believe how fast the time flew by.
I just put the picture here to remind you to notice the children (big, small, grown or not) in your life.

ADDENDUM
Diva-child not shown above was getting pouty about not being included. So...here's the proof that she was beautiful than (as now), too. Day by day, our children are beautiful, don't you think? And since everybody is SOMEBODY's baby, it wouldn't hurt to try and NOTICE the beauty once in a while.
Just saying.
