Don't you wonder, sometimes where our ideas come from?
And I believe my drawing/photoshop made a huge leap in improvement.. (hey, YOU may not see it, but this didn't take me forever, either)... I did a pencil sketch, scanned it and then actually manipulated some layers and added in color with lots of different brushes. I still have a tendency to make things "fussy." Suggestions welcome on this one!!

Great to see you've got a scanner now. However I tink you need to be scanning at a higher resolution. I usually scan pictures at the size I want to print them out at 300 pixels per inch as a tif. Then I save again at a smaller size (usually 390 pixels wide at 72pixels per inch) and the 2nd version I save as a jpg. Hope that's helpful.
Hi, I love your illo. I too have a tendency to get too fussy and busy with some of my illos. I have grand ideas, but not enough time to execute them (with my skill level) fully.
Another quote I had considered for my karma illo: “We all know sometimes life's hates and troubles, Can make you wish you were born in another time and space. But you can bet your life times that and twice its double, That God knew exactly where he wanted you to be placed.” Stevie Wonder, As
love the colours that you've used with the white highlights, and that you've kept the sheep simple! it's a hilariously creative concept. the man in front seems different somehow...did you draw him at a different time than the rest?
cheers,

I've just taken another look and feel a bit silly with my last comment. I didn't realise the low res picture linked to a high res! Much Better.
