Journal to a Muse

I am ready for my close-up.

Tomorrow is the first day of a two day retreat that I'm facilitating. I've printed hand-outs, collected props, and now all I need to do is have something healthy for dinner and get some sleep. I'm excited!

Oh, and I need to re-configure my Quicken files to I know if I really have cash to pay my bills.... The online balance, bank, and my check register all have wildly differeing balances... it's not even a matter of deposited funds not yet being available. Aeeeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. I am definitely an artsy type.

I bet this week will go by fast fast fast. I want to get TO and then THROUGH my surgery. How nuts do you have to be to be willing to trade going under the knife for the time to sit in a recliner and ask for cold drinks? I don't imagine there is anything I can do to speed up the time between the biopsies and pathology reports, though. Waiting is not my strong suit.

Time is definitely relative. And valuable.
