I went to the amazing Chandor gardens in Weatherford, Texas

And this is a "Betty Boop" rose from Clark Botanical Park in Mineral Wells. Here is their page with more photographs. I can hardly wait to paint Betty Boop!

amazing colors! things are starting to bloom in MA here, but I always remember at this time of year just how much I miss Texas bluebonnets and wildflowers.
I love Betty Boop! Roses are about a month away from blooming in Brooklyn, so it's nice to see your photos. The Brooklyn Botanic Garden has an especially nice rose garden.
