But, if the weather had been much nicer, I wouldn't have even gotten THIS far on my first real sock. (The monster socks for hubby don't really seem to count somehow.) As soon as I finish this AND finish sock number 2, I will be ready to get going on the Twinkletoes Crocus yarn... perhaps in a textured pattern. Hmm. probably will be ready for cold weather in the fall. It is fun to knit something for ME for a change.
This is one of the many "distressed" bird houses at TJ's in Cape Neddick. 5 acres of gardens, yard art, sculpture and rooms of interior decor. Most of it was a bit over the top for my taste, but as always in shops of this kind, it smelled wonderful (bitter orange, maybe?) and the owners were friendly and chatty.
