I've been At Knit's End.I might ought to write a 5 star review on Amazon and everywhere. (I was a pro in a former life... book reviewer, that is!!). I've laughed out loud almost every page, and thereby managed to actually get usually numb husband to ASK ABOUT KNITTING. What a coup.
I've started a vine/lace pattern in nice sage Katia cotton. The logic of lace still escapes me, but it's turning out well enough. Blogging is a wee break in the tedium of single stitch un-knitting. (Frogging lace is tooooo dangerous for this old girl.)
Photos tomorrow. Promise. Of something. (But not me.)
Oh, and if you've sat on your derrier (knitting OR noshing) too long, I recommend this, too.

I just got my copy the other night. I'm really enjoying it too, she's so fun to read.
I miss being a bookseller. I can't believe they sent you to the coffee pot. Man, you should have kicked them in the knees and THEN left. ;)
I live within the City of Boston in a southern neighborhood. We've got great yarn stores/knitting groups here you should come see us when you visit your Daughter!
