Here are the yarns I've picked to do the tea cozy from Knitter's Stash. I'll get a better photo when the camera's up and "running." Oh, dear. I just realized I didn't have happy ladies at LYS (Woolie Ewe) wind it for me. Hubby will have to sit still for a while! The "cottage will be in the beige -- which I hope, when felted will have a bit of a depth to it as a cobble stone house would. The "roof" is a luscious deep brown with just a hint of green. A thatched cottage with just a bit of moss, maybe? and LOTS of embroidered flowers and birdies to make it bright. If I like the project, i can see me doing another one that is Santa Fe terracotta/adobe with orangey tiles and turquoise door/windows etc.... and shocking pink hibiscus!
