Illustration Friday - Homage*

*Homage (from the French: Hommage) is generally used in modern English to mean any public show of respect to someone to whom one feels indebted. In this sense, a reference within a creative work to someone who greatly influenced the artist would be an homage.
I included 5 artists, and must also mention photoshop!

Good, vibrant colors. Your illustration evokes a nice feeling, all sunny and bright. I like your use of texture.

Really nice painting! I'm trying to figure out your five artists, but adding photoshop was funny!

I feel the same way about Illustrator. Illustrator has very nearly become like a family member at this point.

Nice, soft colors. Very gentle.

Thanks, y'all. It wasn't just a French mood... there was a bit of California, Columbia and USSR (old school!!) in there, too.
I'll post answers next week.

This is a great idea! I'm trying to figure out your artists as well...is that a Matisse? Maybe van gogh? I'm probably way off, so I hope you will post your answers soon!
