Even though the icy disaster that the meteorologists were publicizing didn't materialize in our part of North Texas, there was freezing and there was precipitation. Theoretically we were going to have hours and hours of "ice pellets." If that happened, they didn't stick around very long.
But here's what I saw outside my home office window this morning.
And I have even more appreciation for the photographers who take those amazing pictures in which every tree looks like it had mated with a crystal chandelier.
