Tectonic shift.
I don't know exactly what shifted, but something did and it's about @#$%ing time!
Had a consult with my PCP today concerning her opinion of bariatric surgery.
She spent almost an hour with me. (Granted, it was the last day of school, and apparently everybody but me had a flight into health, or at least vacation!!)
I left with referals for:
- colonoscopy (routine follow up)
- excision of "suspiciously dark" mole
- new opthamologist who won't leave me sitting in waiting room for 1.75 hours.
- bariatric specialist
- cardiologist to rule out congestive heart failure or something by way of EEG
and results for:
EKG: "Well, you haven't had a heart attack."
I got home about 4:30 from her office and immediately looked up the phone numbers and dialed. They were ALL closed at 4:55. Guess I'll be up and at 'em in the morning to see about appointments.
And to take a walk.
Even though the wind is still expected to be about 20 MPH with 40+ mph gusts.
Take good care of yourself.

(Natalie just fed your kitty. Did you know it could do that? She did. lol)
It sounds as if you're in for a year of change.
Jeez- you know how to have fun. Take care of yourself, would you?
Yes, do take care of yourself. Thanks for the reminder as well. A friend and I looked at each other yesterday and both said "We need to walk!"
