I'm tagged.
Ok.
Jenifleur over at jenifleur-de-lis tagged me.
She was so nice about my posts, I'm playing along. (Flattery & cajoling work!)

Here are the rules for playing if you are inclined to following rules {if rule following is not your bag, do as you please, but heed the warning: the next time I am at your house I will consume all of the chocolate I can find in your house.}
1. link to the person that tagged you.
2. post the {very important} rules on your blog.
3. list 6 very unimportant, random nothings about yourself {should be an easy one}
4. tag six random people at the end of your post by linking to their blogs. Let each random person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their website.

1. I've been to 43 of the 50 states, without really trying. Taking my kids to camp in Minnesota and my son to college really increased the count!
If you have destinations that you recommend in Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Alabama, West Virginia, Hawaii or Alaska... I'm making a list!

2. I'm picky about words and grammar. I've distanced myself from people on line who are careless about spelling. It seems to me they are being disrespectful.

3. I knew how to mix Manhattans and Martinis in 2nd grade.

4. I hardly ever drink. (except Diet Coke and Vernors Ginger Ale)

5. I've taught classes for people who want to keep journals. My focus isn't on the artsiness of the journal, but on what to say and how to get started. My blog isn't really a journal!

6. I love reading and starting new hobbies. Art supply stores (brick and mortar or on-line), book stores, and home improvement stores are where I like to shop most.

And if they'll play, here are my 6 tag-ees:

Ninotchka
Marta
S.P. Goodman
Nancy's Garden
Femiknitmafia
Michael Emerald

Those are 6 very interesting things! There's got to be a story of how you learned to mix drinks in 2nd grade ;0)

I also share your pickiness concerning words and grammar. I blame it on the English Major in me. But nothing drives me more nuts than seeing words misspelled or used incorrectly!

I'm glad you played Tag! And wow! I loved catching up with your blog and reading about the art exhibit and seeing your sketches! :)

~Cheers!
