There's very little promise here. In spite of 75 degree warmth today, I haven't yet had time and energy during the sunny hours to start clearing last season's perennials, turning dirt or planting bulbs. Keep your fingers crossed.

And so far, this winter has been so warm, I haven't seen a single Junco. I've enjoyed them all black and grey hopping on white snow or ice. There probably won't be any this year because the Robins are already here in force.
