The Dreaded "Thwarted Expectations"

Yesterday I went paper shopping. That is, shopping for invitations for the upcoming Wedding Rehearsal Dinner, which I am co-chairing with the step mother of the groom.

I even got permission from the store manager/owner at Socially Write to take photos so I could send emails to aforementioned co-host and/or my daughter for preferences. The people at Pomegranates are really sweet, too, so I might order from there if I don't feel the online method is trustworthy.

The batteries on my camera pooped out exactly then. beeeeeeeeeep.Feh.

So I captured all sorts of images via The Internets instead. (but I won't show them here because I don't want the internet police giving me a hard time. Let's just say that I was delighted with online vendors Polka Dot Design, Whitney English, Inviting Company, San Lori and Cross-My-Heart.
And then I had to de-compress. I did these. Obviously they are fantasy landscapes. No lake could clink to a cockeyed meadow, and I've never seen lone pines in the middle of such a barren plain. Even the Pine Barrens aren't open like this!!. (click for bigger)

And these were texturized doodles
