Knitting!
The clapotis is coming along!

This is "Hempathy" and has the most beautiful sheen and drape. I was sorely tempted to knit some ombre, hand-painted luxory fiber, but in around here, we wear bright colors that don't need competition from a wrap! The wrap will add texture and just enough warmth to ward off any chill we might be fortunate enough to have between now and October. And after dropping the stitches, I'll never be afaid to drop and pick up stitches again. This piece, will however, benefit from some stern blocking.

Note: My cat is apparently suffering a fiber shortage. Look at those toothmarks on my previously "new" bamboo needles.
She apparently doesn't know that cats are carnivores--- not endangered herbivorous Pandas.
I love(d) the smoothness of the bamboo, but there is definitely something to be said for metal or plastic. Fortunately, these are still working fine.

My cat chews the plastic and metal needles, too, so I'd give up hope of other needles being immune, if I were you. :P

I asked my cats about this. They told me to tell you...

Sputnik:
"But if you're playing with it, it must be food, right?"

Kizmet:
"They look like snakes that are dead. We should bite them again."

Jocelyn Bell Burnell:
"If I kill them and then bring them back to you, will you throw them again and give me treats?"
