Winter is an etching,Stanley Horowitz
spring a watercolor,
summer an oil painting and
autumn a mosaic of them all.
And then, again, there's photoshop.
Actually, I DO have dianthus, strawberries and hostas coming up in my garden. And while we often have real live cottontails foraging in the parsley and mondo grass, this image is derived from a plaster garden bunny.

you know its spring when the bunnies flutter their lashes. sweet rabbit!
so, we have parsley but what's this ''mondo'' grass?
this is so beautiful and adorable! I love the softness and it is like an illo fro a book! Really love this!!!
Bunnies! what a perfect symbol of spring. This is adorable.
This is so sweet!
Very Springy!I love the little flowers!
Cute little bunny! The bed of flowers that surrounds her - or him - looks like it's going to make some mighty fine munching!
Reminds me of one of those squishy (and springy) marshmallow bunnies and chicks. Very cute picture.
And I saw your cilantro above... that and tomatillos are essential ingredients (and, well, yeah, of course the pork and a lot of other stuff) for a friend's chili verde recipe, just about my all-time favorite food.
Thanks for the referral to the bear/poppy photo on MSNBC's Animal Tracks. A great shot.
Take care.
Well it may have been a plastic garden bunny but it could be my own sweet pet rabbit! Lovely picture!
