There's a lot I need to think about and process as a result of being a lady of leisure for a week in Santa Barbara. (I edited most of the photographs I took. I've substituted some brighter versions of the pictures for your viewing pleasure...)
I LIKE being a lady of leisure.
I am willing to work, sweat, take risks and make mistakes to achieve my heart's desires. I am willing to forego some of the minor pleasures which have absorbed my energies in the past.
Stay tuned.
Knitting Content:
I finished the back of the baby sweater!! I like the heart pattern and the moss stitch ruffled "peplum." I should have started knitting baby sweaters sooner. they seem to go pretty fast!! on 4mm needles. And the Sirdar Snuggli is VERY soft... even though the yarn splits a little. (discovered that via a wee bit of frogging here and there.)

Several pleasant surprises awaited me when I got home.
Easter cards from my former mother-in-law! Thanks, Rosalie!!
and my daughter! She always finds the NEATEST CARDS... and writes even niftier things inside.

I look forward to meeting up with you!
I've got more than a few day lillies ready to pop as well. I hope I have the camera ready for them.
Thanks for the link, btw. I'd visited her site before, and can't figure out how I'd not bookmarked it for more reading.

Being a lady of leisure is just sooooooo nice.
