This Meme is about asking to be interviewed. I asked Wenders and these were her questions and my answers.

If you could be a character in any book, who would it be and why? Pippi Longstocking! I should probably re-read the book because it may have been 50 years since I read it. But what I remember is that she was spunky, intrepid, and didn't mind that her parents were no where to be found. She lived with a horse and monkey. There were adults nearby who were curious and sometimes helpful, but mostly she got herself in and out of adventures. She had a happy childhood!
If you could have any job in the world, what would it be?
I would like to be the go-to-person for creative problem solving: A sort of Renaissance Woman Consultant. I would be a know-it-all that people appreciated! It might be a kind of combination Madeleine Albright and Paula Deen with some Nancy Pelosi thrown in. The pay would be astronomical and I could do research as needed.
On the other hand, I took an interest inventory once that said I should be a Pastry Chef. That would be OK, too. As long as somebody ELSE made sure it was profitable.
What is one small thing you could do differently on a daily basis that would make you happier?
Give myself credit. For doing ANYTHING right. Or just for DOING. Or BEING. There are tons of other things I could do differently on a daily basis that would make me happier, but they SEEM huge. I could DO this one.
What is your dream vacation? I hope to get to the Scandinavian Fjords, and Vancouver, and Provence before the end of my days. But dream vacations combine bits of sight seeing, eating, people watching, sketching reading, and napping--within reach of civilization, especially near good coffee and good bookstores. I have no interest in climbing K2 or going on a 60 mile hike as a "vacation." I love going with DH, but am thinking that if we were going to be in one place for a while, it would be fun to go and met my kids and their significant others. Especially before grandchildren pop up!
Describe your perfect Sunday. Breakfast/brunch out. Then we might drive to one of the local "sites:" a farmer's market, art show, the zoo, or we might do what we USUALLY do, and go to Borders! Browse and browse, have a mocha in the safe. Then either pick something up or eat a simple supper at home. On "perfect weather days" there might be gardening or weeding instead of sight-seeing.
